In 2013 Curator Stacey Uradomo- Barre invited me to create an installation for the exhibition “Constructs” at Wing Luke Museum in Seattle, Washington. A t that time, I was working full time as an RN in the Emergency Room. On my days off I was also helping to care for my mother, suffering from dementia. She was living in a nursing care home. The following journey is about realizing Life through Art, a delicate balance.
2014 My goal was to to re-create my Mother’s room in her nursing care facility, to scale in my in Palo Alto Studio. I planned to pack the finished artwork into my car and drive it to the Wing Luke Museum in Seattle.
